Microscope mounting

This is a Canon microscope adapter "f". The first part connects over the tube and allows the eye piece to be used, then the top attachment goes over the top. This gives greater magnification with both the objective and eye pieces being use at the same time. The camera is connected to the mount.

Bellows

This is a personal preference. Taking the head off and mounting the SLR or bellows to the converted camera mount.

Mounting the CD-1000, the same as a 35mm SLR

With the CD-1000 mounted directly on the top of the head or mount, we can then use the camera zoom control to give the ratio size and to avoid vignetting. This effectively gives us a zooming microscope.

Using a steroscopic engineering examination microscope.

The use of the tripod is only for the CD-1000 using the Canon micro unit "f". With the Canon 35mm SLR's, the tripod is not used because the camera attaches right onto the mount.
